Penalty Fees

Overview
Penalty fees act as a deterrent to arriving late or missing courses. When an employee arrives late to a course, it is disruptive to the other employees attending the session. When an employee misses a course, it leads to wasted resources, such as the time and effort of OD employees, classroom space, and materials prepared for the session.
Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • Dispute Late Cancellation Fee: Challenge a fee incurred for canceling your course registration late.
  • Dispute No Show Fee: Challenge a fee incurred for not showing up to a registered course.
Eligibility
Eligibility and approval will vary depending on circumstances and type. Please review the program details or contact the support team for specific eligibility requirements.
Resources
Supervisors are required to submit disputes of late cancellation and/or no show fees.
Cost
  • Late Cancel = 50% of Course Fee.
  • No Show = 100% of Course Fee.

You will receive an open ticket notification.  If additional information is needed, you will be contacted by the respective support team.  Ticket status can be tracked in the portal under the View Tickets tab.
