Overview
Requesting a new Listserv list can be done via the list request form within the Email Services service catalog. Once submitted, the request will be reviewed by Technology Services personnel and, if appropriate, created.
Requirements
For a new list to be created, the following requirements must be met:
- The list must be requested by an email address ending in a recognized domain of a Texas A&M University System campus or agency (tamu.edu, tamug.edu, etc.)
- At least one owner of the list must have an email address ending in a recognized domain of a Texas A&M University System campus or agency.
- The list must not be a duplicate of an existing list or serve the same audience and purpose as an existing list.
Instructions
- Go to Email Services
- Click Mailing lists from the list at the right.
- Fill out the form.
- Click Submit.
You will receive an email containing a link to create your list. This link is only accessible by listserv administrators and should be ignored.
