Overview
Texas A&M Exchange Email is an email service provided by the Texas A&M Technology Services. It can be accessed online at https://outlook.office.com/ as well as by desktop and mobile email clients. For Android, the Outlook app can be used to access the Texas A&M Exchange Email servers.
Removing Exchange from Outlook
Removing your Exchange account from your email client will remove only the information stored on your local device. Email that is stored on the Exchange server will not be deleted by this process.
- Open the Outlook app for Android.
- Click the account icon in the upper left of the screen.
- Click the Settings Gear Icon in the lower left of the screen.
- Click on your Exchange account.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Click Delete Account.
- Click Delete to confirm.
Re-Adding Exchange to Outlook
When setting up your Exchange account, it may take several minutes for email and calendar items to appear in your client. This is normal.
If you choose to store your email on your device instead of, or in addition to, the online server make sure you are connected to a WiFi connection before continuing to avoid using cellular data.
- Open the Outlook app for Android.
- Select Add Account.
- Enter your NetID@tamu.edu.
- Click Continue.
- Enter your NetID@tamu.edu on the Sign In page.
- Click Next. You should be taken to a Modern Authentication screen with the TAMU Logo at the top.
- Enter your NetID password.
- Click Sign in.
- Authenticate via Duo.
- Click Maybe Later when asked if you want to add an additional account.
