TAMU Gmail for iOS

Introduction

There are several ways to check your Texas A&M Gmail account from your iOS device including the default Mail client provided by Apple and  Google's Gmail app.

Apple Mail Client

Google Sign In

1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
   
   
    
2. Scroll down to and tap Apps.
   
   
    
3. Tap Mail.
   
   
    
4. Tap Mail Accounts.
   
   
    
5. Tap Add Account.
   
   
    
6. Enter your NetID@tamu.edu email address then click Next.
   
   
    
7. Tap Google.
   
   
    
8. Tap Open Browser.
   
   
    
9. Enter your NetID@tamu.edu email address then click Next.
   
   
    
10. Enter your NetID password then click Sign in.
    
    
     
11. Authenticate using Duo.
    
    
     
12. Grant necessary permissions to Google then click Continue.
    
    
     
13. Your TAMU Gmail account should now be included in your list of available email accounts.
    
    

Google Gmail App

Before performing these instructions, you will need to download the Gmail app from the App Store.

1. Open the Gmail app.
2. Click Sign In.
   
   
    
3. Click Google on the Add Account screen.
   
   
4. Click Continue to all the app to access your information.
   
   
    
5. Enter your NetID@tamu.edu email address. You will be automatically redirected to a TAMU CAS login screen.
   
   
    
6. Enter your NetID and your NetID password.
   
   
    
7. Authenticate via Duo. Your NetID@tamu.edu Google account should now be listed.  
   
   
    
8. Click Done. You should see your Texas A&M Gmail inbox.
