Globus - Creating a Service Endpoint

Overview

A Service Endpoint is not used to store data directly, but is used as a gateway to a multi-user storage environment such as SharePoint.

Naming Endpoints

In order to make Endpoints easy to find, we recommend following a common TAMU Globus Naming Convention.

Installing Globus Connect Server

Installing Globus Connect Server is a complex task that requires elevated permissions on the server. Globus provides both a Quickstart Guide and Full Installation Instructions on their documentation site.
