Setting SMART Goals

Overview
The Plan stage of the PCER (Plan, Coach, Evaluate, Reward) model of Performance Management encourages the creation of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound) performance goals, which are documented in Workday.
Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • Creation of SMART Goals:  Guidance on how to create SMART goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound to ensure effective performance management.

*Visit Performance Management to access online training or register for in-person training.
